Please Note: We Capitalize is a brand name and does not represent a separate legal entity. All research services are rendered by Gowtham Kumaresh, SEBI Registered Research Analyst, Registration No. INH000028981.
This website has been designed and built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and has undergone internal self-assessment. A formal SEBI-mandated accessibility audit by an IAAP-certified auditor is planned for Q4 2026, prior to or shortly after launch, in accordance with SEBI’s digital accessibility circular requirements. This statement will be updated with verified audit findings once the audit is complete.
1. Our Commitment
Gowtham Kumaresh, SEBI Registered Research Analyst (INH000028981), operating under the brand name We Capitalize, is committed to ensuring that this website — wecapitalize.in — is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology, ability, or circumstance.
We have designed and built this website with the intent to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, cognitive, and neurological conditions.
In addition, as a SEBI-regulated entity, We Capitalize is subject to SEBI’s mandatory digital accessibility requirements under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, and applicable SEBI circulars. These obligations are described in Section 3.
2. Conformance Status
As of October 2026, no formal third-party or IAAP-certified accessibility audit has been conducted on wecapitalize.in. The conformance status below reflects the outcome of an internal self-assessment only. Verified conformance will be published here once the formal audit is complete.
Current Status — Internal Self-Assessment
wecapitalize.in has been designed and built from the ground up with accessibility as a primary design requirement, not a retrofit. The following reflects the outcome of our internal self-assessment completed in October 2026:
- The website has been designed to meet all WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA success criteria applicable to a static informational website of this type.
- The six new WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria — 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured, 2.5.7 Dragging Movements, 2.5.8 Target Size (Minimum), 3.2.6 Consistent Help, 3.3.7 Redundant Entry, and 3.3.8 Accessible Authentication (Minimum) — have also been addressed in the design and implementation.
- All accessibility features built into this site have been verified to function correctly in internal testing across modern browsers on desktop and mobile viewports.
This self-assessment does not constitute formal WCAG conformance. A WCAG conformance claim requires verification by a qualified, independent auditor. The formal claim will be published in this section once the IAAP-certified audit is complete — planned for Q4 2026.
wecapitalize.in has been purpose-built for WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance. An internal self-assessment was completed in October 2026. A formal audit by an IAAP-certified accessibility auditor is planned for Q4 2026 to verify and certify conformance in accordance with SEBI’s digital accessibility requirements. This statement will be updated with the audit report findings.
3. SEBI Digital Accessibility Compliance
Regulatory Background
SEBI has mandated that all regulated entities (REs), including SEBI Registered Research Analysts, make their websites, mobile applications, and digital investor platforms accessible to persons with disabilities. This mandate is grounded in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016, and operationalised through SEBI circulars on digital accessibility.
Research Analysts and Investment Advisers report to BSE Limited (recognised as RAASB) for the purposes of accessibility compliance reporting and submissions.
Applicable Circular
SEBI issued a circular dated July 31, 2026 extending timelines for compliance with digital accessibility requirements for regulated entities under the RPwD Act, 2016. This circular extended the deadline for completing accessibility audits and remediating audit findings to October 31, 2026. All other provisions of the prior digital accessibility circulars remain in force.
4. Accessibility Features
The following accessibility features are built directly into wecapitalize.in — no third-party overlays, injected scripts, or accessibility plugins are used. All features below have been verified in internal testing as of August 2026:
Adjustable Text Size
Font size can be increased or decreased via the built-in accessibility widget, without loss of content or function at any step.
High Contrast Mode
A high-contrast theme (black background, yellow links, white text) is available from the accessibility widget for users with low vision or light sensitivity.
Negative Contrast & Grayscale
Negative contrast (colour inversion) and full grayscale modes are available for users who require reduced colour stimulation or prefer monochrome display.
Full Keyboard Navigation
All navigation, menus, interactive elements, modals, and accordions are fully operable by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator on every focusable element.
A “Skip to main content” link is injected at the top of every page, allowing keyboard and screen reader users to bypass the navigation bar on every page load.
Readable Font Mode
A readable font option substitutes the display typefaces (Space Grotesk, Inter) with Arial / Helvetica Neue across the entire site — useful for users with dyslexia or reading difficulties.
Highlight Links
All links on the page can be highlighted with a visible underline, making them easier to identify for users with cognitive disabilities or low contrast sensitivity.
Pause Animations
All non-essential animations (particle canvas, transitions, scroll reveals) can be paused via the widget. The site also respects the OS-level prefers-reduced-motion media query automatically.
Line Height & Letter Spacing
Line height and letter spacing are independently adjustable from the widget to support users with dyslexia, ADHD, or visual processing difficulties.
Enhanced Focus Indicator
Every focusable element has a visible focus ring by default. An enhanced mode adds a more prominent 3px outline around every focused element, supporting WCAG 2.2 criteria 2.4.7 Focus Visible and 2.4.13 Focus Appearance.
Colour Contrast
All text — regardless of size or weight — is designed to meet a minimum 7:1 contrast ratio in both dark and light themes, exceeding the WCAG 2.2 Level AAA enhanced-contrast criterion (1.4.6). Non-text UI components meet the 3:1 requirement (1.4.11).
Responsive Layout
The website is fully responsive across mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and large displays. All content and functionality remains accessible at all viewport sizes from 320px upward.
5. Technical Implementation
The following technical measures have been implemented throughout wecapitalize.in. Each has been directly verified against the codebase as of August 2026:
Semantic Structure & Landmarks
-
Semantic HTML5 elements are used throughout —
<main>,<nav>,<aside>,<section>,<footer>— so that all landmark regions are announced correctly by screen readers and navigable by landmark. -
All navigational landmarks carry descriptive
aria-labelattributes to distinguish between multiple instances of the same landmark type (e.g., breadcrumb nav, table of contents nav, main navigation, section nav within legal pages). - Heading levels follow a logical sequential hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3) with no skipped levels on any page.
Images and Icons
-
All inline SVG icons that are purely decorative carry
aria-hidden="true"— verified across all pages including the navbar, footer, legal pages, and homepage sections. -
Decorative emoji content (team member badges, step icons,
social proof markers) are wrapped in
<span aria-hidden="true">so screen readers announce only the adjacent text label. -
All meaningful images (profile photo, team photos) carry
descriptive
altattributes.
Interactive Controls
- All interactive elements (buttons, links, form controls) are natively focusable and operable by keyboard. No non-interactive elements have been made interactive via CSS alone.
-
The mobile navigation menu implements focus
trapping — when the menu is open, focus is
constrained within the menu using
window._trapFocus()and the background is made inert via theinertattribute, preventing keyboard users from reaching content behind the overlay. -
The premium subscription modal implements the same
focus-trap pattern with
role="dialog",aria-modal="true", andaria-labelledbypointing to the modal title. The background receivesinertwhen the modal is open. -
FAQ accordion buttons carry
aria-expanded(updated on toggle) andaria-controlspointing to the answer panel ID — so screen readers announce “collapsed” or “expanded” correctly. -
The accessibility widget includes
aria-live="polite"regions that announce state changes (e.g., “High Contrast enabled”, “All accessibility settings reset”) without interrupting screen reader announcements in progress.
Links
-
All external links that open in a new tab carry
rel="noopener noreferrer"— verified across all pages including the homepage, all legal pages, and components. -
Social media links in the footer carry descriptive
aria-labelattributes (e.g., “We Capitalize on Instagram”) so screen readers do not encounter unlabelled icon-only links.
Tables
-
All data tables use
<th scope="col">to define column header relationships, and include a visible<caption>providing context for the table. -
Tables are wrapped in a horizontally scrollable container
(
.legal-table-wrap) at narrow viewports to prevent layout overflow without hiding data.
Colour and Theming
-
Dark and light themes are available. The user’s
preference is persisted in
localStorageand applied before the first paint via an early-loading (render-blocking)theme-init.jsscript in<head>, preventing a flash of incorrect theme on page load. - Information is never conveyed by colour alone — icons, text labels, and patterns reinforce all colour-coded states in accordance with WCAG 2.2 criterion 1.4.1.
Accessibility Widget — State Persistence
-
All accessibility widget settings (font size, high contrast,
negative contrast, grayscale, readable font, link highlighting,
pause animations, line height, letter spacing, and focus
indicator) are persisted in
localStorageunder the keya11y_stateand automatically restored on every subsequent page load across the entire site. -
The widget’s “Reset All” function clears
all stored settings, returns the page to its default state,
and announces “All accessibility settings reset”
to screen readers via an
aria-liveregion.
6. Ongoing Commitment
Accessibility is not a one-time project — it is an ongoing commitment. We continue to monitor and maintain accessibility as content, features, and underlying standards evolve.
- All new pages and significant content changes will be reviewed against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria before publication.
- New interactive components will be tested with keyboard-only navigation and reviewed against the ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG) before deployment.
- Following the formal IAAP-certified audit (planned Q4 2026), all audit findings will be remediated and the remediation status will be published on this page.
- An annual accessibility compliance report will be submitted to BSE/RAASB by April 30 of each year as required by SEBI.
- This Accessibility Statement will be updated whenever significant changes are made to the website, after each formal audit cycle, or whenever SEBI issues revised digital accessibility requirements.
- Accessibility-related feedback received at contact@wecapitalize.in will be reviewed and acted upon within 2 working days.
If you encounter any accessibility barrier while using this website before the formal audit is complete, please contact us using the details in Section 8. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the required information in an accessible format while the formal audit is pending.
7. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content or functionality may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Known limitations identified during internal self-assessment as of August 2026 are listed below. These will be formally verified and addressed during the IAAP-certified audit.
Embedded third-party content — including payment gateway iframes and external portal links (Telegram, SEBI SCORES, SMART ODR) — may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as these are outside our direct control.
- PDFs and downloadable documents: Any downloadable research reports or documents provided as PDFs may not be fully accessible. We aim to provide an accessible HTML alternative or plain-text summary on request — please contact us if you need a document in an alternative format.
-
Particle canvas background: The animated
particle canvas used as a decorative page background is
implemented as a purely decorative element with
aria-hidden="true"and carries no informational content. It can be paused via the accessibility widget or automatically suppressed when the OSprefers-reduced-motionsetting is enabled. -
Custom cursor: The custom cursor dot and
ring effect on desktop are purely decorative and carry no
functional role. They are automatically hidden on touch
devices via a media query check in
script.js.
If you encounter a limitation not listed here, please report it using the contact details in Section 8.
